Our coffee sponge is made with considerable finesse by our head baker Domenico, who mixes in the finest Italian coffee to his cake batter to produce a coffee sponge that will take you back to the cafés of the eighteenth century.

For the finishing touches, Domenico pours a coffee glaze on the sponge, and adds a scrumptious butter cream.
