In contrast with Tagliatelle, Pappardelle is much broader in its ribbons. The name comes from the Italian verb ‘pappare’, which means ‘to gobble up’, and this veritably mouthwatering pasta originates from Tuscany. Our fresh pappardelle comes with distinctive fluted edges. With it’s luxuriously broad ribbons, and velvety texture, Pappardelle is perfect for hearty, meat-based sauces, such as ragus.
